I’m Kristin.

I’m an avid hiker and an organizer for Lazy Ass Hiking (which, by the way, is not for lazy people AT ALL. I feel I was duped).

I started Hike Inland Empire as an Instagram account in August of 2015 and the community has grown to 11,000 followers. The account showcases hiking trails in Riverside and San Bernardino counties (so, you know, not JUST the Inland Empire. You can stop sending snarky emails and comments about that thaaaanks).

This is my blog version of that account. The blog only features hikes I’ve actually done myself, so @hikeinlandempire does cover additional hiking opportunities that are not featured here.

Occasionally I will also cover hikes that are not in the area because it’s my bloggy and I’ll do what I want to.
